Abella has introduced 3D Secure with its Payment Service Provider Protx to ensure our customers are provided with the latest and most secure method of purchasing products form our website. Registering with 3D Secure means that every time you make a purchase with your registered card a password will be required. This password works in a very similar way to Chip and Pin in the high street. Anyone using your card will have to know your password to make a purchase over the internet. As with your Chip and Pin number keep your password secure. 3D Secure is a culmination of Verified by Visa (VbV) and MasterCard Secure Code (MSC). 3D Secure is the latest fraud prevention initiative launched by the card schemes as a more secure method for authenticating the shopper at the time of the transaction. How do I Make a Purchase? Once the address details have been entered on the order pages you will be taken to the Protx secure payment page, here you will enter your card details. Once you have entered your card details on the Protx payment page you will be prompted on the confirmation page to register your card for 3D Secure (if you have yet to do so) or proceed with the transaction and enter your pin.
If you have already registered your card, you will be redirected to the Verified by Visa/MasterCard Secure Code website to enter your password:
